From 27 February 2009 AMR Sheet Metal Fabrication Ltd became
BS EN IS0 9001:2008 compliant




New factory
AMR moved into new premises at Stanford in the Vale on 25th August 2005

Having secured planning permission and bought the land in February 2005, it took just six months to build the factory.

Our old site in Limborough Road, Wantage is being redeveloped.

Mrs I Murray has now retired and is no longer a director. Robert and Andrew would like to thank her for her support through the early stages of AMR.



Recent and Future Investment
To continue to invest in our business, new technology and our people skills, to further enhance the quality and scope of service we offer our customers.

In 2006 we invested in a new CAD/CAM system. Radan allows us to receive DWG files and programs can be created for our CNC punching machine.

In 2007 a new Behringer Eisele (vms 350 pv) Cicular Metal Saw was purchased which greatly enhanced our cutting capacity.The Hybass light guards were replaced on the Promecam with a new set of Optoscan M90 guards. One of the offices was refurbished and all computer software was upgraded.

In 2008 we purchased a new LVD 110/30 Easy Form (3 metre Press Brake), a Grit GX75 Linisher for scalloping tubes and a Guyson Eueoblast Shotblaster.

CCTV was installed June 2008.

In 2009 ISO 9001 was achieved. Electric Forklift was purchased (replacing our old diesel unit).

In 2010 we have purchased a Meyer SR32AE Vertical Drilling Machine.

In 2011 we intend to add the following capacity:

  • A new set of Tube Benders
  • A new Inserting and Fabrication Centre
  • Replace our 2.5 meter Guillotine with a 3 meter unit
  • Replace our Tube Roller
